Our mission is to joyfully serve God by serving the poor, vulnerable women and children, while promoting compassion, community and sustainable development.  We will be working with orphans and vulnerable woman and children in cooperation with local and international organizations by meeting medical, physical, educational, emotional, and spiritual needs.  In addition to our partnerships, we want to leverage our gifts, education and entrepreneurial experience in order to help develop a practical and holistic strategy for sustainable development.

To be a voice to the voiceless, for the disadvantaged and downtrodden and to share the love of Jesus with them.

We will primarily be working in the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, to empower people through sustainable social and business development, Such as Ellilta ProductsWomen at Risk, & Parker Clay.

To joyfully serve God by serving the poor, vulnerable women and children, while promoting compassion, community and sustainable development.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

We seek to courageously live out the Gospel and be the hands and feet of Christ.  To see the lost found, the blind see, the lame walk, and justice for the oppressed.

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?  Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2: 14-17

To spend our lives for the lost, the downtrodden, the oppressed, the poor, the widowed, and the orphaned around the world.

…and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58: 10-11

I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”  And I said, “Here am I; send me! –Isaiah 6:8

• Parker Clay
During our time in Ethiopia we have spent time with a number of organizations looking for ways to address some of the root causes to poverty and the disruption of family.  We have seen firsthand how many of the problems that non-profits and NGO’s are addressing stem from poverty rooted in lack of opportunities.  If the people in Ethiopia were paid for hard work alone many would be millionaires, but the reality is that even with hard work there is a missing link to markets around the world.  This is why Parker Clay was created.  Through creating great products that would highlight the beauty and potential within Ethiopia and that could be sold around the world it would start to address the causes of poverty at it’s roots.

Parker Clay opened for business in Spring 2014. With our inaugural launch, and in addition to creating job’s for the products we are producing, we are also partnering with the non-profit Women at Risk in giving back to help more women in Ethiopia realize their potential and to empower them. By purchasing from Parker Clay, you join this movement. Woman at Risk has been helping women in Ethiopia for over 18 years through rehabilitation, counseling, and skills training. 94% of the women that have completed their program have stayed out of the commercial sex industry.  We believe that good business should do good for the people they work with, this is why we work so hard to create products that look amazing but also have impact on the amazing people that make them.

Microenterprise and access to microfinance is an effective means of helping people in developing countries to help themselves.  We want to leverage our gifts, education and entrepreneurial experience in order to help develop a practical and holistic strategy for sustainable development.  Ideas include:

• Business as Mission (BAM) concepts

• Partnership and business consulting with/for Ethiopian and International businesses.

• Development of local network and opportunities for people and business development.

Giving that multiplies, as you invest in us, we want to invest in others and see that investment multiplied many times over.

When your striving to survive and poverty is a way of life, people’s potential is often buried under those challenges.  It is our goal to stand along side those that are in this environment and equip them with tools for lasting success.  We believe that when even the simplest of opportunities are presented that a powerful transformation begins to take effect and will empower others within the culture towards sustainable development.

We are compeled into action by the love of Jesus Christ. 1 John 3:16
